Write for ITPrecinct — Sponsored Content & Guest Posts

IT Precinct has been publishing hands-on, practitioner-written IT content since 2019. We work with a small number of relevant vendors, authors, and agencies each month who want to reach a technical audience through sponsored articles and guest contributions.

We’re selective on purpose — our readers come here for depth on HCL Notes/Domino administration and Microsoft enterprise scripting (PowerShell, T-SQL, .NET), and every placement is edited to keep that standard.

What We Accept

We accept insightful and valuable articles and blog posts on:

  • HCL Notes / Domino / LotusScript — administration, development, migration, troubleshooting
  • PowerShell, T-SQL, and .NET — enterprise scripting, automation, and development
  • Broader enterprise IT topics directly adjacent to the above (e.g., Windows Server administration, SQL Server, enterprise security practices)
  • Original, practitioner-level writing — not marketing copy dressed up as a tutorial

What We Don’t Accept

  • Generic consumer tech, gadget reviews, or “top 10 apps” style content
  • Topics unrelated to our niche (finance, health, general marketing, buy products, lifestyle) — even with a generous offer
  • Thin, AI-spun, or unoriginal content
  • Content built primarily to stuff in a link, with little standalone value to readers

Our Terms

  • All outbound links are marked sponsored/nofollow, in line with search engine guidelines — you’re buying qualified reader visibility and referral traffic, not a ranking signal
  • We retain full editorial control: we may edit, restructure, or reject content that doesn’t fit our voice or technical standard
  • Minimum 800 words, one link to your site per post (additional links considered case by case)
  • Typical turnaround: 5–7 business days from accepted draft to publication
  • Placements are one-time payment for indefinite publication, provided the content and link remain relevant and functional over time

Pricing

Sponsored posts start at $75, depending on how much editorial work is needed to fit our niche and style. Get in touch with your topic and draft (or a brief outline) and we’ll confirm a quote before you commit to anything.

How to Get Started

Email admin@itprecinct.com with:

  • Your proposed topic or a draft/outline

We reply to most inquiries within 2–3 business days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer dofollow links?

No. All sponsored and guest post links are marked nofollow/sponsored, in line with search engine guidelines on paid content.

Can I write about general technology topics outside your niche?

No. We only accept content directly relevant to HCL Notes/Domino/LotusScript or Microsoft enterprise scripting (PowerShell, T-SQL, .NET) and closely adjacent enterprise IT topics.

Will you edit my submitted content?

Yes. We review and edit every submission to match our editorial style and technical standards before publishing. Significant rewrites may affect the final quote.

How long does the post stay published?

Indefinitely, as part of a one-time payment, as long as the content and link remain relevant, accurate, and functional. We periodically review older posts and may remove dead or outdated links.

How do I submit a pitch?

Email admin@itprecinct.com with your topic or draft, the link you’d like included, and a short note on its relevance to our audience.
