Twitter is one of the most powerful and popular social media platforms out there. Using Twitter, you can express your views and opinions to millions of users out there but sometimes it comes with a cost. Your posts or views might not settle well amongst people and are reported. So, you have no other way but to download your tweets and delete them at once. In this article, we are going to discuss how to do that.
Open Twitter
The first thing you are going to do is login to Twitter. Once you have logged in, click More located at the extreme-left. Click Settings & Privacy and then select Download an archive of your data.
Provide Access
Upon requesting an archive of your data, Twitter will ask for your password to confirm it is you. Once you enter the password, Twitter will take around 24 hours to collect your data and allow you to download the archive. It will also send a link to your email address when the data is ready to download. Keep in mind that the data needs to be downloaded within a certain period of time otherwise the archive will expire and you will have to resubmit a request for archive creation.
Upload the Archive
Your computer will download the data in Zip format. Then, navigate to Easy Tweet Deleter and type in the credentials to log in. Once logged-in, click on Upload Archive and upload the zip file. Now that your data is uploaded, you can easily delete all the tweets at once.
